The Story
While Maija Isola worked in her office, she felt inspired by the pattern of light through her blinds and the familiar caw of seagulls. She grabbed a pair of scissors and crafted the Lokki (seagull) waves. Now a playful icon, particularly modern in black and white, Marimekko Lokki Fabric can be used for anything from a playroom fort to custom drapes. Made from 100% cotton, the Lokki fabric is machine washable and soft to the touch.
