The Story
Let this earthy, large-scale Marimekko linen fabric decorate your interior through curtains, tablecloths, pillows and more. The delicate, naturalistic Vuoren Kasvit (mountain plants) print was created in 1979 by Maija Isola while she was living in the Appalachian Mountains in North America. Isola often brought back with her big plants she found on her walks, which often became subjects of her paintings and fabric patterns. Made in Finland, this supple linen fabric is easy to work with and durable for every project.
*Please note: Printing large-print fabrics using the flatbed method leaves a repeat line at the edge of the pattern, and the prominence of this line depends on the fabric's color and pattern. The repeat line is not a flaw but a feature of the printing technique that can also be used as an effect.
