The Story
The realism of illustration in the world Klaus Haapaniemi creates with his designs is nothing short of breathtaking. Artemisia Absinthium is the scientific name of Common Wormwood, but this depiction makes the plant seem far from common. The focus bloom is highlighted in high definition and brilliantly shades with hues of gold and orange. It's contrasted by intricate linework in jewel tones of blue, emerald, and red and balanced by earthy tones of brown and moss. The design feels both vintage and avant-garde, and is bordered by a thick navy blue piping which also conceals a zipper. The same artwork is printed all around this luxurious velvet cushion cover, but because of the large scale, no two are exactly alike. The unique bolster shape is great for lumbar support, but also makes an impactful statement as an accent pillow front and center on the bed.
