Artek Kiila Coat Stand

Three wood legs and the signature Kiila wedge are all this minimal coat rack needs to stand tall and sturdy. Designer Daniel Rybakken used to hang his coats on a camera tripod, which inspired this design. Its low center of gravity can accommodate some serious weight without tipping over. The wedge is purposely left visible to be transparent and industrial in contrast to the wood legs, which can be left with their visible grain or lacquered in seamless black. Complementing powder-coated knobs in black or white lacquer offer a resting spot for coats, hats, bags, and more. This functional sculpture is great for small spaces or large, open areas alike.
