Artek + Marimekko Alvar Aalto Bench 153B Seireeni - 90th Anniversary Edition

To celebrate 90 years of Artek in 2025, Artek has joined forces with Finnish design house Marimekko for a limited collection of one-of-a-kind Aalto furniture. Merging Marimekko's art of printmaking and Artek's innovative wood bending technology, select Marimekko design classics are presented using marquetry atop iconic Alvar Aalto L-leg pieces. Here, the surface of Alvar Aalto's 1945 Bench 153B design is decorated with Maija Isola's flowing Seireeni (siren) pattern. Inspired by the movement of water during Isola's travels to Greece, contrasting wood grains interact to bring the pattern to life. The Aalto Bench 153B can easily fit in an entryway, function as patio seating in outdoor spaces, or act as a living room coffee table; the possibilities are truly endless.
