Artek Kaari REB 004 Black Linoleum / Natural Oak Round Table

Designing brothers Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec were inspired by Aalto's patented L-shaped leg to create a component-based system for the Kaari series. In Finnish, Kaari means "Arch." The fluid outline has the lightness of a single pen stroke, but is sturdy with a strong design presence. It has a single pillar oak base, but four steel wings give it even greater stability. A black linoleum base serves as a sleek surface for dining, meeting, and more. Sustainable derived from linseed oil, it will develop a beautiful patina over time.
